Despite the fact that the boating ramp is yet to open doesn’t appear to discourage them from having a great time here. The Corps of Engineers working on cleaning up these campgrounds have claimed that there’s still a lot of debris to clear up here. They expect that the government funding that will permit them to continue this job will come in soon. In the mean time, campers at the Long Creek Camp, Ridgedale are appreciating a relaxing communion with nature since the crowds of people that are generally found here have not yet started trickling in the same numbers as they usually do. The Memorial Day weekend is among the busiest times during the year for these campgrounds. As waters recede, Corps of Engineers are expecting a rise in the number of visitors visiting here, though.
Places that are reachable currently include the marinas located here. There are roughly a dozen marinas here that have always been terrific places for families to chill. At the State Park Marina, you will have sufficient water sports and activities to keep yourself and your family members busy all through your vacation. Rent a boat, enjoy wave running and parasailing or maybe take a long enjoyable cruise aboard a catamaran to calm your overworked nerves. For those who love the sea and its colorful creatures, scuba diving in this marina is a must do activity. You can try your luck with fishing at many of the marinas here and even hire a guide at a number of them to know how to locate the best catches. There are some superb golf courses here at Ridgedale also boasting rolling terrains and narrow fairways which make for a reasonably challenging round. If you’re bringing the youngsters along, you might drive down to the many theme parks in nearby Branson for a wonderful time.
